Are you passionate about art, publishing, and bringing our beautiful books to a global audience? We are looking for a strategic and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts on the east coast of the US. This position is based in our office in New York and that requires frequent and intensive travel throughout the East Coast, extending south to Florida. This is a unique opportunity to shape the commercial growth of TASCHEN at the intersection of visual culture and creative excellence.
- Managing a variety of B2B accounts in the book trade and museum market. This includes presenting our program seasonally, processing & troubleshooting orders from PO receipt to fulfilment, working closely with our distribution partner to ensure compliance, and working with accounts to optimize merchandising and brand awareness at the staff level
- Identifying and capturing new business, and traveling to prospect in key markets within the East Coast territory
- Building a trusted relationship with key accounts and maintaining strong,
long-lasting customer relationships based on growth and success - Forecasting and tracking lead title and key account metrics
- Attending trade shows, book fairs, and industry events to represent the company and network with potential partners
