- Overall responsibility for the stable, secure, and efficient operation and continuous development of our IT infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud
- Responsibility for IT security, data protection (as internal coordinator), and IT compliance, including security measures, vulnerability management, and security incidents
- Responsibility for internal IT services and support, including service management, support processes, and escalation management
- Responsibility for the technical infrastructure, hosting, availability, and security of our website and web shop, in close cooperation with external service providers
- Coordination and implementation of technical projects and requirements in close collaboration with the Systems Development and E-Commerce teams, as well as other business departments
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of the IT team, including organization, prioritization, and employee development
- Coordination of IT requirements across our international locations and management of local technicians and service providers
- Responsibility for telecommunications, providers, IT contracts, and technical services across our various locations
- Selection, management, and coordination of external IT service providers, consultants, and specialists
- Ensuring appropriate documentation, process optimization, operational resilience, and the continuous development of the IT organization
- Hands-on involvement in complex technical issues, projects, migrations, and technical escalations

Your tasks
As Head of IT (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the strategic and operational development of our IT environment and for ensuring the secure and reliable operation of our entire IT infrastructure. You will lead the IT team from both a functional and managerial perspective and work closely with the company's management, our international locations, and external partners.
Your profile
- Completed vocational training, ideally as an IT specialist in system integration, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in an operational IT environment
- Strong experience with Windows/Microsoft infrastructures, Microsoft 365, networks, virtualization, and IT security
- Good knowledge of PowerShell and automation, as well as a solid understanding of modern IT infrastructures
- Experience in project coordination, managing external service providers, and developing and improving IT processes
- Willingness to act as the internal data protection coordinator and serve as the interface between our business departments and external Data Protection Officer
- Affinity for AI and emerging technologies, with practical experience in applying AI-driven solutions to improve IT operations, support processes, and automation considered an advantage
- Familiarity with macOS environments and the integration and management of Apple devices within a predominantly Microsoft-based IT infrastructure is an advantage
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach, combined with strong decision-making skills, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to assert yourself when necessary
- Business-fluent German and English
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, including in challenging situations
- Willingness to travel and to provide support in the event of critical incidents or necessary maintenance work outside regular working hours
