- Oversee and manage metadata process while liaising with all relevant departments
- Using the business’s internal title management system and CMS, ensure that titles are set up correctly, with complete and timely metadata
- Create and enforce metadata best practices, working with retailers to ensure metadata is complete and accurate, and drive metadata improvement projects across the business
- Build relationships with data aggregators, wholesalers, libraries, etc. to ensure metadata meet their requirements
- Act as the point of contact for all internal and external bibliographic data queries and ensure company is up-to-date with bibliographic standards
- Troubleshoot external issues and ensure that Amazon and other key retailer sites reflect our internal data and resolve any data issues with third parties promptly and effectively
- Customize product feeds to other online channels such as Google, Facebook, Criteo, etc.
- Perform regular quality checks for all localized product feeds

We’re looking for a Meta Data Specialist to join our team in London and help shape how our titles are presented across global digital channels. Working closely with the digital, editorial and sales teams and reporting to the Digital Director, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our product data is accurate, consistent, and optimized.
Your profile
- Strong experience with publishing metadata and ONIX
- Ability to analyse and provide detailed feedback
- Excellent communication and organization skills to meet deadlines
- Proven experience of identifying areas for improvement and creating and implementing new processes
- English fluency required, additional languages a plus
