Your tasks

Production-related execution and support of the graphic design team. This includes:

Final artwork preparation of our book layouts for prepress in close collaboration with the production and editorial teams
Preparation and handling of data as well as coordination of production workflows for internal presentations
Briefing of external suppliers and proofreading/typesetting control in various languages
Adapting existing publication layouts to different book formats

Your profile

Completed vocational training as a media designer (print & digital) or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in the print sector, including final artwork/prepress work in editorial design
Very strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Strong technical affinity and interest in new digital possibilities
Good sense of typography, design, and image handling
Ability to work independently, in a structured and precise manner, combined with strong team collaboration skills
Very good communication skills in German and English
Enthusiasm for the wide range of topics covered in our books
