Your tasks
  • Assisting the production departments on upcoming titles throughout our production process.
  • Assessment and correction of proofs, including color proofs.
  • Researching new vendors and suppliers, including requesting quotations, samples and competitive pricing.
  • Liaising between editorial and production.
  • Supporting the development of new products and designs.
  • Ongoing maintenance of material research and sample libraries.
  • Potential visits to vendors and production facilities.
  • Assisting with the preparation of presentations and deliveries.

Your profile
  • Strong Interest in and knowledge in the program we publish (art, art history, photography, architecture, design, pop culture, travel, and fashion etc.).
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated (MA) in Book Studies, Industrial, Product Design or Fine Art, alternatively qualified training in prepress/reproduction, media design.
  • Fluent in English and German, Italian is a plus.
  • Confident with Microsoft Office, databases, Adobe Acrobat (i.e. InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and basic knowledge of other DTP programs.
  • Organizational talent with an eye for detail and strong sense of precision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Availability and willingness to travel.
  • Keen eye and attention to detail, flexible, proactive, problem solving and creative mind.
  • Independent, structured and team-oriented way of working and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Open-mindedness and a passion for the range of our program.
