Are you passionate about art, publishing, and bringing our beautiful books to a global audience? We are looking for a strategic and driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts from our Los Angeles office. This is a unique opportunity to shape the commercial growth of TASCHEN at the intersection of visual culture and creative excellence.
- Managing a variety of B2B accounts presenting our program, processing orders, and following up and liaising with our distributors to
ensure timely fulfillment - Identifying and growing new sales channels, including bookstores, museum and gallery stores, art fairs, and specialty retailers
- Build a trusted relationship with key accounts and maintaining strong,
long-lasting customer relationships based on growth and success - Traveling regularly (1-2x a month) to see key accounts and prospect new clients
- Vetting and maintaining key account vendor manuals / terms and conditions and working closely with our distributor to ensure compliance
- Forecasting and tracking lead title and key account metrics
- Researching, identifying, and traveling to prospects in specific territories
- Attending trade shows, book fairs, and industry events to represent the company and network with potential partners
